Fluoride varnish is a quick treatment where fluoride is brushed on the teeth. Fluoride varnish is used to prevent tooth decay, slow it down or stop it from getting worse. Fluoride helps strengthen the enamel (outer layer of the tooth). Fluoride is also used to help reduce tooth sensitive to temperatures.
Fluoride is recommended to be applied every 5-6 months.
