Are you about to improve your oral health with a dental crown in Hutchinson, KS? If so, our Susan Evans DDS team is more than happy to tell you what to expect so you are ready for the treatment!
When you come into our office and meet with your dentist, Dr. Susan Evans, you can expect the following steps:
Step 1: Dr. Susan Evans will first examine your tooth by taking a series of dental X-rays. The X-rays are completely safe. They inform your dentist on the health and condition of your tooth, your tooth’s roots, and the surrounding bone.
Step 2: Dr. Susan Evans will then numb the tooth and surrounding area. Once you are completely numb, [heshe] will remove a portion of the tooth’s enamel to make room for the dental crown.
Step 3: When your tooth is the perfect size and shape, your dentist will use a paste or putty to make an impression of your tooth. The impression will then be used to create your crown in the same day.
Step 4: When your new crown is created, your dentist will cement your new crown into place.
After your appointment, you will have the smile results you are looking for! For more information about dental crowns, please feel free to call our office at 620-663-5297 and talk to a member of our dental team. We are here to help you in any way we can, and we look forward to hearing from you!
